Rock burst is a major geological disaster faced by deep underground engineering.Its sudden and high-energy release characteristics seriously threaten construction safety.This paper systematically reviews the latest progress in rockburst mechanisms,prediction methods and prevention and control technologies.Research shows that the initiation of rock burst is controlled by high in-situ stress environment,hard and brittle rock mass and engineering disturbances.Rock burst risk prediction methods have evolved from traditional indicator methods(such as elastic deformation energy index and maximum energy dissipation rate index)to multi-source information fusion models.Prevention and control technology forms a"active energy release-enhanced support-dynamic monitoring"system,in which pressure relief from advanced drilling reduces the frequency of rock burst by 40%,and the energy-absorbing bolt support system improves the impact resistance of the support body by 30%.Typical cases show that Sanshandao Gold Mine reduced the incidence of rock burst by 50%by optimizing the mining sequence.Future research needs to break through key technologies such as multi-field coupled disaster mechanisms and intelligent real-time early warning to provide security for deep resource development.
