元江干热河谷植物枝叶功能性状的海拔变异及权衡OA
Variations and trade-offs of branch and leaf functional traits in plants along altitudes in Yuanjiang dry-hot valley
为探究元江干热河谷优势植物对海拔变化的生态适应策略,以元江干热河谷国家级自然保护区内 4 个海拔带的 13 种主要优势植物(乔木 5 种、灌木 6 种、草本 2 种)为研究对象,测定其当年生小枝的枝横截面积、出叶强度、比叶面积、叶干物质含量、叶片厚度、枝长 6 个植物枝叶功能性状,并进行单因素方差分析和主成分分析,系统分析其枝叶功能性状的海拔分异规律及经济谱特征.结果表明:不同海拔优势植物枝叶功能性状的总变异为 3.3%~144.0%,乔木和灌木的枝横截面积、出叶强度、叶干物质含量对海拔变化表现出强变异(总变异为 53.5%~144.0%),叶片厚度均为弱变异(总变异为 11.2%~18.3%).基于性状贡献率较高的主成分 1(PC1)构建的植株经济谱显示,随海拔升高,乔木与灌木的资源利用策略由获取型转变为保守型,而草本植物的变化规律则相反.
To investigate the ecological adaptation strategies of dominant plants to altitudes in the Yuanjiang dry-hot valley,this study focused on 13 dominant species(five tree species,six shrub species,and two herb species)across four altitudinal zones in the Yuanjiang National Nature Reserve of Yunnan Province.Six functional traits of current-year twigs were measured,including twig cross-sectional area,volume-based leafing intensity,specific leaf area,leaf dry matter content,blade thickness,and branch length.One-way analysis of variance and principal component analysis were conducted to explore the variations and trade-offs of functional traits among different altitudes.The results revealed that the total variations in the functional traits of branches and leaves of dominant plants across different altitudes ranged from 3.3%to 144.0%.For arbor and shrub species,the twig cross-sectional area,volume-based leafing intensity,and leaf dry matter content exhibited strong variations ranging from 53.5%to 144.0%,while blade thickness showed weak variations ranging from 11.2%to 18.3%.The plant economic spectrum constructed based on principal component 1,which had a high contribution rate,indicated that both arbor and shrub species shifted from acquisition-oriented to conservation-oriented resource utilization strategies as the altitude raised,whereas herb species exhibited the opposite pattern.
