The role and potential of bacterial extracellular vesicles in preventing and controlling diarrhea and intestinal inflammation in weaned piglets
细菌胞外囊泡(Bacterial extracellular vesicles,BEVs)是所有细菌主动分泌的纳米级膜包裹结构,直径介于20~400 nm之间,携带蛋白质、核酸、脂质等多种生物活性分子,在细菌生理活动及宿主互作中发挥关键作用.随着兽医学与纳米生物学的交叉融合,BEVs在猪病防控领域的研究日益深入.本文系统阐述了细菌胞外囊泡的生物学特性,对比革兰氏阳性菌与革兰氏阴性菌来源BEVs的功能差异,解析其成分组成及与宿主的相互作用机制,重点阐述BEVs在断奶仔猪腹泻中的应用实践与作用机理,并展望其产业化应用前景,为断奶仔猪腹泻的治疗及预防提供理论参考.
Bacterial extracellular vesicles(BEVs)are nano-scale membrane-enclosed structures actively secreted by all bac-teria,with a diameter ranging from 20~400 nm.They carry various bioactive molecules such as proteins,nucleic acids,and lipids,and play a key role in bacterial physiological activities and host interactions.With the integration of veterinary medicine and nanobiology,research on BEVs in the field of swine disease prevention and control is increasingly in-depth.This article systematically reviewed the biological characteristics of bacterial extracellular vesicles,compared the functional differences between BEVs derived from Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria,analyzed their composition and interaction mecha-nisms with the host,emphatically elaborated on the application practices and mechanisms of action of BEVs in postweaning diarrhea in piglets,further looked forward to their industrial application potential,aiming to provide a theoretical reference for the development of precise prevention and control technologies for postweaning diarrhea in piglets.
