A Review of Research Advances in Sugar Beet SNP Molecular Marker Technology and Its Applications in Breeding

SNP(单核苷酸多态性)分子标记以其高稳定性、高密度和高通量优势,已成为甜菜遗传改良与精准育种的核心技术.本文系统综述了甜菜SNP分子标记的技术原理、实验开展方案及其在含糖率、耐盐性、抗虫性等重要性状全基因组关联分析(GWAS)中的应用进展.文中还针对当前SNP分子标记在甜菜研究中存在的多态性偏低、复杂性状解析难、成本与通量平衡等关键问题,提出了整合多组学数据、开发专用SNP芯片、优化中高通量分型技术等策略.最后,展望了SNP分子标记在甜菜全基因组选择育种、本土化种质创新以及多组学协同解析中的发展前景,以期为甜菜分子育种提供理论依据与技术支撑.

SNP(Single Nucleotide Polymorphism)molecular markers,with their advantages of high stability,high density,and high throughput,have become a core technology for sugar beet genetic improvement and precision breeding.This article systematically reviews the technical principles of sugar beet SNP molecular markers,experimental implementation schemes,and their application progress in genome-wide association studies(GWAS)of important traits such as sugar content,salt tolerance,and pest resistance.It also addresses key challenges in current sugar beet SNP research,including relatively low polymorphism,difficulties in dissecting complex traits,and the trade-off between cost and throughput.Strategies such as integrating multi-omics data,developing dedicated SNP chips,and optimizing medium-to high-throughput genotyping technologies are proposed.Finally,the prospects of SNP molecular markers in sugar beet whole-genome selection breeding,localized germplasm innovation,and multi-omics collaborative analysis are discussed,aiming to provide theoretical foundations and technical support for molecular breeding in sugar beet.
