赖草和羊草是我国北方草原生态修复与牧草生产的重要根茎型禾草,因有性繁殖存在"三低"问题,其无性繁殖能力对种群维持至关重要.为系统比较其根茎扩繁能力,本研究在山西省右玉县设立同质园试验,以无破坏测定方法对50份赖草和10份羊草种质材料的根茎特性及扩繁能力进行测定,并分析种内与种间差异.结果表明:(1)赖草种质资源和羊草种质资源的表型性状相似性较强,叶相关性状差异较小且相对稳定,而在所考察的性状中,根茎子株、茎长、株高、抽穗及分蘖等方面均存在宽泛的变异幅度,呈现出复杂的变异类型.(2)羊草和赖草的根茎扩繁能力均较强,总体来说赖草根茎扩繁能力强于羊草.(3)根茎空间扩展距离因子是羊草和赖草根茎扩繁能力的主要贡献因子.本研究可为指导以赖草和羊草为核心的草地生态系统的修复工作与适应性管理实践,提供有力的科学支撑.

Leymus secalinus and Leymus chinensis are important rhizomatous grasses used in ecological restoration and forage production in the grasslands of northern China.Due to the"three low"(low seed set-ting rate,low germination rate,and low grass productivity)problems associated with their sexual reproduc-tion,their asexual reproductive capacity is particularly vital for ecological protection.To systematically compare the rhizome expansion capacity of the two species,a common garden experiment was conducted in Youyu County,Shanxi Province,China.Using non-destructive measurement methods,the rhizome traits and expansion capacity of 50 Leymus secalinus and 10 Leymus chinensis germplasm accessions were evalu-ated,and both intraspecific and interspecific differences were analyzed.Results showed that:(1)The phe-notypic traits of Leymus secalinus and Leymus chinensis germplasms exhibited strong similarity.Among these traits,leaf-related characteristics exhibited small variation and remained stable across accessions.In contrast,traits such as rhizome-derived ramet number,stem length,plant height,heading characteristics,and tillering capacity displayed wide variation,indicating complex variation patterns.(2)Both species dem-onstrated strong rhizome expansion ability,with Leymus secalinus generally exhibiting stronger rhizome expansion capacity than Leymus chinensis.(3)The spatial expansion distance factor of rhizomes was identi-fied as the primary contributor to the rhizome expansion ability of both species.This study provides valu-able references and scientific support for the ecological restoration and adaptive management of grassland ecosystems centered on Leymus secalinus and Leymus chinensis.
