为探究猫尾草(Phleum pratense)新品系在低温胁迫下的响应机制和适应能力,以3份猫尾草新品系(P1、P2、P3)、3份引进材料(7019、8735、10027)、2份地方品种('岷山'猫尾草和'川西'猫尾草)为研究对象,在低温(4℃、0℃和-4℃)下处理7 d后测定其幼苗形态、生理及光合特性相关指标.结果表明:随温度降低,供试猫尾草株高、叶长、叶宽、叶面积、相对含水量、过氧化氢酶活性、叶绿素、类胡萝卜素含量、蒸腾速率、净光合速率、叶片气孔导度均显著下降,丙二醛、脯氨酸、可溶性糖、可溶性蛋白含量均显著升高,超氧化物歧化酶和过氧化物酶活性先升后降,在0℃处理达到最大值,胞间CO2浓度先降后升,并在-4℃处理达到最小值.综合评价表明,新品系P2和P3抗寒性较强,种质7019和10027抗寒性较弱,其余种质介于它们之间.回归分析表明,脯氨酸、净光合速率、叶面积、叶宽、过氧化氢酶、叶绿素和丙二醛可作为猫尾草苗期抗寒性评价的重要指标.研究结果为猫尾草耐寒育种和种质创新提供理论依据.

This study investigated the responses of three newly developed timothy(Phleum pratense)lines(P1,P2,and P3),three introduced cultivars(7019,8735,10027),and two local cultivars('Minshan'and'Chuanxi')to low temperature stress.Seedlings were subjected to 4℃,0℃,and-4℃for seven days,after which morphological,photosynthetic characteristics,and physiological parameters were measured to elucidate the mechanisms underlying cold tolerance.The results showed that decreasing temperature signifi-cantly reduced plant height,leaf morphology parameters(length,width,and area),relative water content,catalase activity,chlorophyll and carotenoid contents,transpiration rate,net photosynthetic rate,and sto-matal conductance.In contrast,malondialdehyde,proline,soluble sugar,and soluble protein contents increased markedly under low temperature stress.Superoxide dismutase and peroxidase activities displayed a biphasic pattern,reaching maximum values at 0℃and declining at lower temperatures.Intercellular car-bon dioxide concentration first decreased and then increased,with the lowest value observed at-4℃.Com-prehensive evaluation indicated that P2 and P3 exhibited the strongest cold resistance,whereas cultivars 7019 and 10027 were the most sensitive,and the remaining cultivars showed intermediate tolerance.Lin-ear regression analysis identified proline content,net photosynthetic rate,leaf area,leaf width,catalase activity,chlorophyll content,and malondialdehyde level as key indicators for evaluating cold resistance in timothy.These findings provide a theoretical basis for the selection and breeding of cold tolerant timothy cultivars.
