Evaluation of fruit external morphology and nutritional components of three thornless Rosa roxburghii materials

[目的]全面探究无刺刺梨的形态特征与营养品质特性,揭示其生物学特性以及营养价值,为其资源的开发利用提供理论依据.[方法]对3份无刺刺梨材料(24-1、24-2、24-3)及对照(CK)的果实外观形态(果实纵径、横径、果形指数、单果重、种子重、可食率、种子数)、营养品质(可溶性固形物、抗坏血酸、柠檬酸、苹果酸、单宁、果糖、蔗糖、葡萄糖、超氧化物歧化酶)及矿质营养元素(钾、钙、锌、镁、铁、无机磷)等进行调查,并对22个品质指标进行相关性分析和主成分分析.[结果]在外观形态指标方面,24-3的果形指数(0.82)和种子重量(2.12 g)显著高于对照(CK:0.71,1.70 g)(P<0.05,下同),说明其果实形状更接近圆形.在可食率上,24-1和24-2均显著高于CK,其中24-1的可食率(87%)最高.此外,3份无刺刺梨材料的果实纵径、横径及单果重均与CK存在显著差异,且各项指标均优于CK.营养成分分析结果显示,无刺刺梨材料在抗坏血酸、柠檬酸和苹果酸含量上均显著高于CK.其中,24-2的抗坏血酸(0.18 mg/g)和柠檬酸(21.60 mg/g)含量最高,而24-3的苹果酸(226.73 mg/g)含量最高.同时,无刺材料的果糖、葡萄糖和蔗糖含量也显著高于CK,整体表现更优.具体来看,24-2的果糖(0.45 mg/g)和蔗糖(9.45 mg/g)含量最高,24-3则在葡萄糖(2.74 mg/g)含量上表现突出.无刺刺梨的SOD活性显著高于CK(10.96 U/mL),其中24-2的SOD活性(18.86 U/mL)最高.矿质营养元素分析表明,无刺刺梨材料中钾、钙、锌、镁、铁和无机磷含量均显著高于CK,且在各无刺材料中表现优异.具体而言,24-1 的钙、锌和镁含量最高(6.09 μmol/g、5.60 μmol/L、0.79 mmol/L);24-2 在铁和钾含量(167.67 μmol/L、3.65 mmol/L)上居首;而无机磷含量则以24-3(7.02 mmol/L)为最高.[结论]24-3的综合品质性状表现最优,无机磷(P)、横径(TD)、单果重(SFW)、钾(K)、蔗糖(SC)、纵径(LD)、果形指数(FSI)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、单宁(TC)及铁(Fe)被筛选为无刺刺梨品质分级的关键指标.

[Objective]A comprehensive study on the morphological characteristics and nutritional quality of thornless Rosa roxburghii,with multidimensional analysis to reveal its biological traits and nutritional value,provides a theoretical basis for the utilization of its resources.[Method]The study investigated the fruit morphological traits(fruit longitudinal diameter,transverse diameter,fruit shape index,single fruit weight,seed weight,edible rate and seed number),nutritional quality(soluble solids,ascorbic acid,citric acid,L-malic acid,total tannin,fructose,sucrose,glucose and superoxide dismutase),and mineral nutrient elements(potassium,calcium,zinc,magnesium,iron and inorganic phosphorus)of three thornless R.roxburghii materials(24-1,24-2,24-3)and the control(CK).Correlation analysis and principal compo-nent analysis were performed on the 22 quality indicators.[Result]In terms of morphological indicators,the fruit shape index and seed weight of 24-3 is significantly higher than those of the control(CK)(P<0.05,the same as below),indicating that its fruit shape was more round-ed.The edible rates of 24-1 and 24-2 were significantly higher than those of CK,with 24-1 having the highest edible rate.Additionally,the fruit longitudinal diameter,transverse diameter,and single fruit weight of the three thornless R.roxburghii materials all showed significant differences compared to CK,with all these indicators being superior to CK.Nutritional component analysis revealed that the contents of ascor-bic acid,citric acid,and L-malic acid in the three thornless R.roxburghii materials were significantly higher than the CK.Among them,24-2 had the highest ascorbic acid and citric acid contents,while 24-3 had the highest L-malic acid content.Meanwhile,the fructose,glucose and sucrose contents of the three thornless R.roxburghii materials were also significantly higher than the CK,demonstrating an overall superior performance.Specifically,24-2 had the highest fructose and sucrose contents,and 24-3 showed the most glucose content.The study also found that the SOD activity of the three thornless R.roxburghii materials were significantly higher than the CK,with 24-2 exhibiting the highest SOD activity.Analysis of mineral nutrients indicated that the contents of potassium,calcium,zinc,magnesium,iron and phosphorus in the three thornless R.roxburghii materials were significantly higher than those in CK,and these elements showed excellent performance across the thornless R.roxburghii materials.Specifically,24-1 had the highest calcium,zinc,and magnesium contents;24-2 ranked first in potassium and iron contents;and 24-3 had the highest phosphorus content.[Conclusion]The 24-3 exhibited the best overall quality performance,and phos-phorus(P),transverse diameter(TD),single fruit weight(SFW),potassium(K),sucrose content(SC),longitudinal diameter(LD),fruit shape index(FSI),superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,tannin content(TC)and iron(Fe)content were identified as key indicators for quality grading of thornless R.roxburghii.The combined application of these parameters provides a robust and scientifically sound basis for objectively evaluating and classifying the quality of thornless R.roxburghii germplasm resources,which is crucial for optimizing resource utili-zation and breeding programs aimed at improving fruit quality traits.
