鄂尔多斯盆地东部二叠系山西组页岩特征与分类评价OA
Characteristics and classified evaluation of Permian Shanxi Formation shale in the eastern Ordos Basin
鄂尔多斯盆地东部地区二叠系山西组页岩为陆相沉积产物,具备较大的页岩气勘探开发潜力.针对该区页岩特征认知不系统、分类评价体系缺失及有利勘探目标不明确等核心问题,采用岩心观察、X射线衍射(XRD)、总有机碳含量(TOC)分析、岩石热解、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)等实验测试手段,系统开展页岩岩石学、地球化学特征研究及分类体系构建,并深入剖析其储集空间与孔隙结构特征,明确优质储层的岩性类型及主控因素.研究结果表明:①山西组页岩矿物组成以长英质矿物(石英为主)和黏土矿物为核心,TOC平均值为 1.25%,有机质镜质体反射率(Rₒ)为 2.07%~3.13%,岩石热解参数(S1+S2)平均值为 0.31 mg/g,干酪根类型以腐殖型为主,整体属于过成熟优质烃源岩;②基于矿物组成与TOC特征,将山西组页岩划分为贫有机质粉砂质页岩、富有机质黏土质页岩及贫有机质黏土质页岩 3 种类型,其储集空间均以粒(晶)间孔、粒(晶)内孔及有机质孔为主要类型,其中贫有机质粉砂质页岩以纳米级中—大孔为优势孔隙,而其他 2 类黏土质页岩储集空间发育相对有限;③地质评价证实,贫有机质粉砂质页岩因孔隙度较高且中—大孔喉发育,是山西组页岩气优质储层的核心发育岩性.结论认为,建立的页岩分类体系及优质储层评价标准,为鄂尔多斯盆地东部山西组页岩气有利勘探区优选提供了关键地质依据,对推动该区域页岩气勘探开发进程具有重要意义.
The Permian Shanxi Formation shale in eastern Ordos Basin is the product of continental sedimentation,and has great potential in shale gas exploration and development.However,the shale characteristics in this area are not understood systematically,there is no available classified evaluation system,and the favorable exploration targets are not defined clearly.To address these core issues,this paper systematically investigates the petrological and geochemical characteristics of the shale by means of experimental tests such as core observation,X-ray diffraction(XRD),total organic carbon(TOC)analysis,rock pyrolysis,and scanning electron microscope(SEM).On this basis,a classification system is constructed.In addition,the characteristics of reservoir spaces and pore structures are analyzed,and the lithological types and controlling factors of quality reservoirs are determined.The following results are obtained.First,the minerals in the Shanxi Formation shale are dominantly felsic(dominated by quartz)and clayey,with average TOC of 1.25%,organic vitrinite reflectance(Rₒ)ranging from 2.07%to 3.13%,and average rock pyrolysis(S1+S2)of 0.31 mg/g,and the kerogen is mainly type III,indicating the Shanxi Formation shale is overmature quality source rock.Second,based on mineral compositions and TOC characteristics,the Shanxi Formation shale is classified into three types,i.e.,organic-lean silty shale,organic-rich clayey shale,and organic-lean clayey mudstone(shale).And its reservoir spaces are mostly acted by intergranular(intercrystalline)pores,intragranular(intracrystalline)pores and organic pores,with nano-scale medium and large pores being the predominant pores in organic-lean silty shale,while relatively limited development of reservoir spaces in the two types of clayey shale.Third,geological evaluation demonstrates that the organic-lean silty shale is the core lithology of quality reservoir for Shanxi Formation shale gas due to its high porosity and developed medium to large pore throats.In conclusion,the shale classification system and quality reservoir evaluation criteria established in this paper provide a key geological basis for the selection of favorable explorations areas of Shanxi Formation shale gas in eastern Ordos Basin,and are of great significance for promoting the shale gas exploration and development in this area.
