鄂尔多斯盆地东缘煤层气产业发展前景、挑战与对策OA
Development progress,challenges,and strategies for CBM/CRG in the eastern margin of the Ordos Basin
鄂尔多斯盆地东缘煤层气产业是中国天然气能源领域的重要接替,但受复杂地质条件特征及工程工艺适应性差等因素制约,该区资源探明率低、开发效益差等问题突出.为此,通过系统总结煤层气产业发展历程,特别是2019年以来,在该区开展的深层煤岩气勘探开发实践,剖析煤层气产业发展目前面临的问题与挑战,并针对性地提出相应的对策和建议.研究结果表明:①鄂尔多斯盆地东缘大吉区块初步创新形成深层煤岩气富集成藏理论认识以及6项地质工程一体化高效开发配套技术,支撑建成国内首个百万吨油当量深层煤岩气田.②该区煤层气产业快速发展面临中浅层煤层气效益开发难度大、深层煤岩气勘探开发理论技术挑战多、煤层气产业发展政策支撑力度不足3个方面的问题与挑战.③提出3个方面的对策与建议,加强中浅层煤层气有利区评价与效益提产技术攻关,提升单井产量和效益;加强深层煤岩气勘探开发理论与关键技术攻关,实现规模增储和高效开发;从多个层面加强煤层气产业发展政策的支持力度,助力煤层气产业成为国内天然气新的增长极.结论认为,围绕理论技术进步、配套政策加强和开发效益提升等3个方面开展研究和工作,鄂尔多斯盆地东缘煤层气产业将有望实现更高质量的发展.
Coalbed methane(CBM)/coal-rock gas(CRG)in the eastern margin of the Ordos Basin serves as a critical replacement in China's natural gas sector.However,it has been marginally proved and uneconomically developed due to its complex geological characteristics and poorly adaptive engineering techniques.To address these challenges,this paper systematically reviews the development history of CBM/CRG,particularly the exploration and development practices of CRG in the eastern margin of the Ordos Basin since 2019.Furthermore,this paper identifies the current problems and challenges facing the CRG development and proposes corresponding solutions and suggestions.The following results are obtained.First,in the Daji block,eastern Ordos Basin,innovative theoretical understanding of the accumulation and enrichment of CRG has been preliminarily established,along with six geological-engineering integrated efficient development supporting technologies,which have supported the construction of China's first CRG field with an output of one million tons of oil equivalent.Second,the rapid development of CBM/CRG in the eastern margin of the Ordos Basin is mainly challenged by the difficulty in cost-effective development of medium–shallow CBM,numerous theoretical and technical bottlenecks in the exploration and development of deep CRG,and insufficient policy support for the CBM/CRG industry.Third,targeted solutions and suggestions are proposed as follows:(1)enhancing the evaluation of favorable areas for medium–shallow CBM exploration and development to improve single-well production and economic efficiency;(2)strengthening theoretical and technological research on CRG exploration and development to book more additional reserves and achieve efficient development;and(3)intensifying policy support for the CBM/CRG industry at multiple levels,helping it become a new growth driver for China's natural gas production.The study concludes that by focusing on theoretical and technological progress,strengthened supporting policies,and improved development efficiency,the CBM/CRG in the eastern margin of the Ordos Basin is expected to achieve higher-quality development,providing a theoretical foundation and demonstrative example for achieving additional CRG reserves/production across the country.
