Development of Deterioration Warning Method and Device for Gapless Metal Oxide Arrester in Substation

避雷器不仅在长期运行中因承受系统电压和偶然短时过电压而带来以阻性电流增大为主要特征的缓慢劣化过程,而且在重复雷击工况下存在因短时间内吸收较多的雷电能量而造成内部电阻片快速劣化过程,增大了避雷器发生热崩溃的风险.本研究提出避雷器劣化评价方法和判据,给出阈值为阻性电流增大1倍的缓慢劣化判据,以及在重复雷击过程增加短时间内累计吸收雷电能量阈值为达到通流容量30%的快速劣化判据,在此基础上,提出由缓慢劣化和快速劣化两种预警组成避雷器劣化预警方法以及相应的避雷器劣化预警装置,实现现有变电站无间隙避雷器劣化趋势信息及时感知和故障预警,有助于避免避雷器热崩溃故障.

Due to bearing system voltage in long-term operation and accidental short-time overvoltage,a slow deterioration process characterized by the increase of resistive current is generated on the arrester.Moreover,under repeated lightning stroke condition,the lightning arrester absorbs more lightning energy in a short time,causing a rapid deterioration process of internal resistor and increasing the risk of thermal collapse.A method and criterion for evaluating the deterioration of lightning arresters are proposed.A slow deterioration criterion with a threshold of twice the resistive current and a fast deterioration criterion with a threshold of 30%of the current carrying capacity of the accumulated lightning energy absorbed in a short period of repeated lightning stroke are given.On this basis,a lightning arrester deterioration warning method consisting of two types of warnings:slow degradation and rapid degradation,as well as a corresponding lightning arrester degradation warning device are proposed to realize timely perception of the deterioration trend information and fault warning of the gapless arrester in existing substations,which helps to avoid the thermal collapse fault of the arrester.
