Progress on neuroprotective effects and mechanisms of sesquiterpene lactones
倍半萜内酯是菊科植物中的一类天然化合物,多提取自中草药,来源广泛.倍半萜内酯是一类具有三个异戊二烯单元的天然萜类化合物,既往的研究显示倍半萜内酯类化合物具有抗肿瘤、抗病毒、抗菌、降血糖等多种生物学活性.近年来有越来越多的细胞和动物实验结果,显示倍半萜内酯类化合物对神经系统的保护作用,该文对倍半萜内酯类化合物的神经保护效应与作用机制的最新研究进展进行梳理和综述,为倍半萜内酯类化合物相关药物的研究和开发提供相关参考依据.
Sesquiterpene lactones are a diverse class of natural compounds predominantly found in the asteraceae family,with extensive sources in traditional herbal medicines.These com-pounds are characterized by three isoprene units and have been recognized for their wide range of biological activities,includ-ing antitumor,antiviral,antibacterial,and antidiabetic proper-ties.Recent cellular and animal studies have increasingly high-lighted the neuroprotective effects of sesquiterpene lactones.This review aims to summarize and critically evaluate the latest advancements in the neuroprotective mechanisms of SLs,pro-viding valuable insights for the further research and develop-ment of SLs-based therapeutic agents.
