Rongyu No.3 is a new fresh-eating potato cultivar,which was hybrid bred with Concorde as female parent and HZ95-7 as male parent.It is mid-early maturity,with a growth period of about 79 days.Sweet potatoes are concentrated,with 3.0 potatoes per plant,tuber mass of 548.7 g per plant,the large and medium-sized potato rate is 71.9%,and the yield is about 1700 kg per 667 m2.The tuber is oval shape,with yellow skin and medium yellow flesh,shallow and few bud eyes,and smooth skin.The dry matter content is 22.46 g·100 g-1,starch content is 16.10 g·100 g-1,vitamin C content is 18.40 mg·100 g-1,crude protein content is 2.19 g·100 g-1,and reducing sugar content is 0.37 g·100 g-1.It's moderately resistant to late blight,and highly resistant to virus diseases.It is suitable for planting in winter and spring in areas with an altitude of 500 to 1800 m in Sichuan province.
