Since the late 1970s,there has been a heated debate in academic community about the issue of the name"Communist Group",mainly involving whether the name is the original historical name,where it first came from,why the relevant documents use the name,how it spread,whether it is appropriate to continue to use it,and the historical original name of the early organization of the CPC.The discussions around these issues have yielded fruitful academic results and diverse view-points.Some issues have already formed or basically formed a consensus,such as the fact that the"Communist Group"is not the original name in history,and the"Early Communist Organizations"replacing the"Communist Group"as the mainstream viewpoint.There is still room for further dis-cussion on issues that have already formed or have basically formed a consensus,because the"Early Communist Organizations"is not its original name in history.There are still major differences on some issues,and the research results are relatively weak,such as the historical original name of the early organization of the CPC.The issue of the name of the early organization of the CPC is a matter that requires continued attention from the academic community.
