The Impact of Litterfall on the Growth Conditions of Different Forest Stands:A Case Study of Changpoling State-Owned Forest Farm in Guiyang

为明确凋落物对不同林分生长状况的影响,本研究以贵阳市长坡岭国有林场为研究区域,通过调查94个林地斑块(阔叶林25个、针叶林20个、针阔混交林49个),分析凋落物厚度与林分生长指标的关联.结果显示:9-11月份,针叶林(2.73±1.49 cm)和针阔混交林(2.62±1.75 cm)的凋落物厚度显著高于阔叶林(1.83±2.07 cm),提示阔叶林凋落物分解速率更快;在阔叶林中,凋落物快速分解可促进土壤养分富集,进而显著提升组成树种平均胸径(回归方程y=1.61x+10.79,R2=0.243,P<0.05),对树木生长产生正向作用;而针叶林与针阔混交林中,凋落物积累未表现出促生长效应,推测与针叶凋落物中木质素、单宁抑制分解过程,及凋落物过量积累降低土壤通透性有关.本研究补充了凋落物与林分生长关系的理论认知,为贵阳市长坡岭国有林场及相似区域森林生态系统的科学管理提供实践参考.

Forest litterfall is ecologically significant,and its impact on different forest types' growth is of great interest.This study,based on Guiyang's Changpoling State-owned Forest Farm,looked into how litterfall affects the growth of broad-leaved,coniferous,and mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests.The survey across 94 forest patches revealed that from September to November,litter thick-ness of coniferous(2.73±1.49 cm)and mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests(2.62±1.75 cm)surpassed that of broad-leaved forests(1.83±2.07 cm),signaling faster decomposition in broad-leaved forests.In these forests,rapid litter decomposition speeds up nutrient accumulation in the soil,boosting tree growth through quick nutrient release.However,in coniferous and mixed forests,litter accumulation doesn't promote growth,perhaps due to lignin and tannins inhibiting decomposition and reducing soil permeability.Overall,this study enhanced our understanding of the litterfall-forest growth relationship and offers useful insights for forest ecosystem management.
