Coarse Registration of Large Aircraft Integral Fuel Tank Point Clouds Based on Structural Features
针对大型飞机整体油箱数字化模型生成的需求,提出基于结构特征的实测点云初始配准方法.传统的点云初始配准方法对整体油箱壁板上的特征辨识度较低,极易导致误匹配现象的发生,这主要是源于整体油箱内表面规则分布着大量紧固件(如铆钉、螺栓等),从而在局部区域形成了重复的结构特征.此类重复特征会显著降低点云的初始配准精度,进而影响后续的三维模型重建质量.为此,创新性地构建了能唯一描述整体油箱壁板结构的特征描述子,以提高重复结构存在的情况下,点云初始配准的准确性和精度,为后续的精确配准、模型重构等环节提供良好的点云初始位置.
To meet the requirement for generating digital models of large aircraft integral fuel tanks,proposes a coarse registration method for measured point clouds based on structural features.Traditional coarse registration methods exhibit low discriminative power for features on integral tank panels,which easily leads to mismatching.This issue primarily stems from the regular distribution of numerous fasteners(such as rivets,bolts,etc.)on the tank's inner surface,creating repetitive structural patterns in local regions.Such repetitive features significantly degrade the accuracy of coarse registration,consequently affecting the quality of subsequent 3D model reconstruction.Therefore,constructs a feature descriptor capable of uniquely characterizing the structural configuration of integral fuel tank panels.This descriptor aims to enhance the accuracy and precision of coarse registration in the presence of repetitive structures,thus providing a favorable initial point cloud position for subsequent steps like fine registration and model reconstruction.
