山东省海水养殖贝藻类碳汇能力评估OA
Assessment of carbon sequestration capacity of marine aquaculture shellfish and algae in Shandong Province
为了解山东省贝藻养殖状况及碳汇能力,分析了2016-2021年山东省贝藻养殖数据,并估算了其碳汇能力.结果表明,山东省贝藻养殖固碳能力基本保持稳定,贝类养殖碳汇能力为33.86万t·年-1,藻类碳汇能力为3.91万t·年-1,其中扇贝(Pectinidae)、海带(Saccharina japonica)分别是贝藻养殖中碳汇能力最高的类群,贝类的碳汇能力显著高于藻类.不同地市养殖种类差别巨大,呈现出明显的空间集聚特征,碳汇能力高的地区主要为烟台、威海、青岛,占全省贝藻养殖比重的75%.山东省贝藻养殖碳汇功能显著,具有可观的经济效益、社会效益和生态效益.研究结果对深入了解海洋碳汇机制、实现渔业可持续发展具有重要意义.
The continuous increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration has had a significant impact on biodiversity and social development.China is one of the major carbon emitting countries,and carrying out reduction of emission and increase of sink is an inevitable way for China to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.Reducing CO2 concentration in the atmosphere through ocean carbon sequestration is an effective way to mitigate global climate change,protect biodiversity,and achieve sustainable development.In recent years,the fishing carbon sink by mariculture of shellfish and algae has attracted much attention.Researchers have used different estimation methods to estimate their carbon sink capacity,but there are significant differences in the results.The scale of marine aquaculture production of Shandong has been among the top in China for many consecutive years.To understand the status and carbon sink development potential of shellfish and algae aquaculture in Shandong,this study analyzed the data of shellfish and algae aquaculture in Shandong from 2016 to 2021 and calculated its carbon sink capacity.This is the first time in China that a standard accounting method has been used to estimate carbon sequestration capacity.The research results indicate that the carbon sink capacity of shellfish and algae aquaculture in Shandong Province has remained basically stable.The carbon sink capacity of shellfish aquaculture is 33.86×104 t·y-1,and that of algae is 3.91×104 t·y-1.Among them,scallops and Laminaria japonica are the species with the highest carbon sink capacity in shellfish and algae aquaculture.The carbon sink capacity of shellfish is significantly higher than that of algae.There are significant differences in the types of aquaculture in different cities,showing obvious spatial clustering characteristics.The regions with high carbon sink capacity are mainly Yantai,Weihai,and Qingdao,accounting for 75%of the province.The carbon sink capacity of shellfish and algae aquaculture is closely related to its yield.Shandong Province has a huge production of shellfish and algae aquaculture.According to the standard method,it is calculated that the potential for carbon sink in shellfish and algae aquaculture in Shandong is enormous.Mariculture can not only bring considerable economic and social benefits,but also ecological benefits.The carbon sink calculation for marine aquaculture of shellfish and algae is an effective way to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality and is the foundation for establishing a carbon trading market.It is of great significance for comprehensively understanding the carbon sink potential of marine fisheries in Shandong Province.
