In long process steel enterprises,converter gas accounts for about 13.0%of the total by-product gas energy,with a small proportion,low pressure,and intermittent production.Therefore,there is a lack of attention in the overall development and utilization of gas resources,which is one of the potential benefits for steel enterprises.This article is based on a case study of equipment optimization in a long process steel enterprise's converter gas system,and explores the potential benefits of the enterprise's converter gas collection,storage,and distribution.By establishing parallel operation of converter gas cabinets and exploring the optimal mode of gas pressurization energy consumption,the recovery of converter gas per ton of steel increased by 14.5%,and the power consumption of gas pressurization decreased by 11.1%,achieving a total benefit of 5.4 yuan per ton of steel.
