小陇山林区作为秦岭西段重要的水源涵养与生物多样性维护功能区,其树种生长规律对区域森林可持续经营至关重要.以该林区主要树种(锐齿槲栎(Quercus aliena)、山榆(Ulmus davidiana)、华山松(Pinus arman-dii)和油松(Pinus tabuliformis))为对象,基于 2008-2010 年间森林经营采伐木不同高度处圆盘直径数据,采用线性、乘幂与二次多项式函数拟合树高—胸径异速生长关系,并探讨其树干机械设计原则随胸径的变化规律.结果表明:在树木不同的生长发育阶段,树高(H)与胸径(D)之间存在异速生长关系,且各树种高径比随胸径大小变化的趋势基本相同,均符合乘幂曲线拟合规律,随着胸径的不断增大,树高相对胸径的生长速率越来越趋于平缓.小陇山林区树木木材机械设计原则整体上表现为应力自相关性,但不同树种之间随着胸径增大,异速生长指数α值的变化规律差异较大,表现出不同树种生长策略的特异性.除山榆外,其余 3 个树种相对高度在 0.4H时的相对直径与树高显著正相关,可作为预测树木未来树高潜在生长能力的一个可靠指标;落叶阔叶树种树干顶部的相对直径与树高呈现负相关关系,而常绿针叶树种则更多表现出正相关关系,可用来对树木的树高生长潜力进行直观判断.此外,落叶阔叶树种相较于常绿针叶树种,树皮厚度相对较大.

As a crucial functional area for water conservation and biodiversity conservation in the western section of the Qinling Mountains,the Xiaolong Mountain Forest Area plays an indispensable role in regional sustainable forest management due to the growth patterns of its tree species.Taking the major tree species in this forest area-Quercus aliena,Ulmus davidiana,Pinus armandii,and Pinus tabuliformis-as research objects,this study analyzed disc diameter data at different heights of harvested trees during forest management from 2008 to 2010.Linear,power,and quadratic polynomial functions were em-ployed to fit the allometric growth relationship between tree height and diameter at breast height(DBH),while the varia-tion of the mechanical design principles of tree trunks with DBH was explored.The results showed that allometric growth re-lationships existed between tree height(H)and DBH(D)at different growth and development stages of trees.Additional-ly,the variation trends of the height-diameter ratio with DBH were basically consistent across all tree species,all confor-ming to the power curve fitting law.As DBH increased continuously,the relative growth rate of tree height to DBH gradual-ly stabilized.Overall,the mechanical design principle of tree wood in the Xiaolong Mountain Forest Area exhibited stress autocorrelation.However,the variation patterns of the allometric growth exponent(α)differed significantly among tree species with increasing DBH,reflecting the specificity of growth strategies for different species.Except for U.davidiana,the relative diameter at 0.4H(relative height)of the other three species was significantly positively correlated with tree height,which could serve as a reliable indicator for predicting the potential future growth capacity of tree height.For decid-uous broad-leaved tree species,the relative diameter at the top of the trunk showed a negative correlation with tree height,whereas evergreen coniferous tree species mostly exhibited a positive correlation-this difference can be used for intuitive judgment of the tree height growth potential.Furthermore,deciduous broad-leaved tree species had a relatively thicker bark compared to evergreen coniferous tree species.
