一次东北冷涡降雹过程的防雹效果分析OA
Analysis of Hail Suppression during a Northeast Cold Vortex
基于ERA5、天气雷达和自动站分钟雨量资料,对2023年7月6日长春地区一次东北冷涡天气地面高炮作业的防雹效果进行了分析,结果表明:防雹作业前,≥45 dBZ的强回波在短时间内迅速增加,面积占比达70.4%,垂直累积液态水含量出现跃增,12 min最大跃增量达41 kg/m2,冰雹指数也表明有较大降雹概率.防雹作业后,最大回波中心强度逐渐减小,≥45 dBZ强回波的面积呈现递减趋势,强回波主体开始分散并分裂,中心高度明显降低,垂直累积液态水含量呈现减小趋势,冰雹指数逐渐降低至0.受防雹作业影响,作业区总降水量、降水峰值的振幅波动及降水峰值的数量均低于上下游两个对比区,在作业影响时段结束后,作业区降水峰值达到最大.防雹作业对冰雹自然生长产生了一定的抑制作用.
This study analyzes the effectiveness of a hail suppression operation using anti-aircraft artillery during a northeast cold vortex event in Changchun on July 6,2023,based on ERA5 reanalysis data,weather radar data,and minute-resolution precipitation observations from automatic stations.The results showed that before the operation,strong radar echoes(≥45 dBZ)rapidly intensified within a short period,covering up to 70.4%of the area.The Vertical Integrated Liquid(VIL)exhibited a notable surge,with a maximum increase of 41 kg/m2 within 12 minutes.The Hail Index(HI)also indicated a high probability of hail.Following the operation,the maximum echo intensity gradually decreased,the area coverage of echoes≥45 dBZ declined,echo volumes dispersed and split,the central height of echoes noticeably lowered,VIL decreased,and HI gradually dropped to zero.Compared to the upstream and downstream control areas,the operational area exhibited lower total precipitation,reduced variability in precipitation intensity,and fewer distinct precipitation peaks.The maximum precipitation peak in the operational area occurred after the operational effects had diminished.These findings suggest that the hail suppression operation effectively inhibited the natural development of hail.
