Simulation of flood processes in small watersheds based on the InfoWorks ICM model:a case study of the Yili Mountain Area in the Taihu Lake Basin

利用传统水文方法进行山丘区小流域洪水过程推求时,在一定程度上受到桥梁、路涵等涉水工程对河道洪水演进特征的影响.通过应用InfoWorks ICM模型,选择太湖流域宜溧山区典型小流域进行水文水动力模型构建,同时一并概化河道沿线桥梁、路涵等涉水工程,纳入洪水过程推求进行考虑.模型率定验证结果表明,洪水模拟过程与实测过程之间确定性系数均大于0.90,洪峰流量相对误差小于20%,峰现误差可控制在1h以内,满足模型应用精度要求,可为山丘区小流域洪水过程推求提供技术支撑.

It is difficult to accurately reflect the influence of hydraulic structures,such as bridges and culverts,on the flood routing characteristics of rivers when using traditional hydrological methods to derive the flood process in small watersheds in hilly areas.In this paper,through the application of Infoworks ICM model,the typical small watershed in Yili Mountain Area of Taihu Lake Basin is selected to construct the hydrological and hydrodynamic model.Meanwhile,hydraulic structures such as bridges and road culverts along the river course were generalized and incorporated into the derivation of the flood process.The results of model calibration and verification show that the deterministic coefficient between the flood simulation process and the measured process is greater than 0.90,the relative error of flood peak flow is less than 20%,and the peak current error can be controlled within 1 hour,which meets the accuracy requirements of model application and provides a technical support for the calculation of flood process in small watersheds in the hilly area.
