网格简化对口腔种植机器人手术规划与操作中模型精度的影响OA
Impact of mesh simplification on model accuracy in dental implant robot-assisted surgical planning and operation
目的:评估网格简化对口腔种植机器人手术规划与操作中数字化模型精度的影响.方法:使用口内扫描仪分别扫描10个上颌牙列石膏模型和10个上颌无牙颌石膏模型,保存为标准三角语言(STL)文件作为参考模型(R0).通过Geomagic软件对原始模型进行网格简化,分别将网格数量减少至原始文件的75%、50%、25%和10%.比较各简化模型的三角面片数量、三角面片顶点数、文件大小,并计算其与参考模型之间的三维均方根(RMS)偏差.结果:三角面片数量和STL文件大小与网格简化程度呈负相关.随着网格数量的减少,三维偏差逐渐增大.在网格简化不超过50%时,上颌牙列模型和上颌无牙颌模型的中位偏差均小于0.005 mm;当网格简化至75%时,上颌牙列模型的中位偏差为0.0097(0.0067,0.0126)mm,上颌无牙颌模型为0.0059(0.0026,0.0061)mm;当网格简化至90%时,上颌牙列模型的中位偏差上升至0.2264(0.2060,0.2934)mm,上颌无牙颌模型为0.1019(0.0962,0.1302)mm.结论:网格简化对上颌牙列模型真实度的影响大于无牙颌模型,尤其在牙尖和窝沟点隙等结构复杂区域表现明显.牙列模型的精度对网格简化更为敏感.当网格简化幅度超过75%时,模型外形真实度显著下降,可能进一步影响种植机器人的配准精度.
Objective:To evaluate the effect of mesh simplification on the accuracy of digital models in dental implant robot-assisted surgical planning and operation.Methods:Ten maxillary dentate plaster models and ten maxillary edentulous plaster models were scanned using an intraoral scanner and saved as stereolithography(STL)files to serve as reference models(R0).The original models underwent mesh simplification using Geomagic software,reducing the mesh count to 75%,50%,25%,and 10%of the original file respectively.The number of triangular facets,vertices,and the file size of each simplified model were compared,and the three-dimensional(3D)root mean square(RMS)deviation between these models and the reference model was calculated.Results:The number of triangular facets and the STL file size were negatively correlated with the degree of mesh simplification.As the mesh count decreased,the 3D deviation gradually increased.When mesh simplification did not exceed 50%,the median deviation for both maxillary dentulous and edentulous models was less than 0.005 mm.At 75%simplification,the median deviation for maxillary dentulous models was 0.0097(0.0067,0.0126)mm and for maxillary edentulous models,0.0059(0.0026,0.0061)mm.At 90%simplification,the median deviation rose to 0.2264(0.2060,0.2934)mm for maxillary dentulous models and 0.1019(0.0962,0.1302)mm for maxillary edentulous models.Conclusion:Mesh simplification has a greater impact on the trueness of maxillary dentate models compared to edentulous models,particularly evident in structurally complex areas such as cusps and fissures/pits.The accuracy of dentate models is more sensitive to mesh simplification.When the degree of mesh simplification exceeds 75%,the model's morphological trueness decreases significantly,which may further affect the registration accuracy of the implant robot.
