Review on steam explosion-assisted extraction technology for traditional Chinese medicine
蒸汽爆破辅助中药提取技术通过高温高压蒸汽渗透植物组织,瞬时泄压将内能转化为机械能,破坏细胞壁中纤维素、半纤维素与木质素的连接结构,形成多孔通道,从而促进有效成分溶出.其核心优势为提取效率高,绿色环保无化学残留,部分中药活性成分可发生有效转化,工艺适配性强,可实现"一爆多提".蒸汽爆破的作用效果与中药的材质密切相关,适用于真菌类、根茎类、木质/果壳类、叶类等富含纤维、细胞壁致密的中药,不适用于含水量高或极度热敏感的中药.蒸汽爆破作为预处理手段,与超声提取、热水提取、响应面法等技术联用可产生协同效应,进一步提高提取效率并保护活性成分,为工业化应用提供多元路径.目前,该技术仍存在不同中药的蒸汽爆破工艺参数标准化不足、工业化设备研发滞后、基础研究不深入等问题.未来,应进一步加强基础研究,并围绕工艺标准化、设备智能化、应用场景等研究方向突破,促进蒸汽爆破技术成为推动中药产业绿色化、高效化、规模化发展的核心支撑技术之一,推动中药产业从粗放加工向精准制造转型,助力中药现代化发展.
The steam explosion-assisted extraction technology can penetrate plant tissues by high-temperature and high-pressure steam and destroys the connection structure of cellulose,hemicellulose and lignin in the cell wall,forming porous channels and thereby promoting the dissolution of active components of traditional Chinese medicine through instantaneous pressure release that internal energy is converted into mechanical energy.Its core advantages include high extraction efficiency,environmental friendliness without chemical residues,effective conversion of some traditional Chinese medicine active components,and strong process adaptability enabling"one explosion for multiple extractions".The effect of steam explosion is closely related to the properties of traditional Chinese medicine materials:it is suitable for fiber-rich traditional Chinese medicine with dense cell walls,such as fungal,rhizome,woody/pericarp,and leafy varieties,but not suitable for high-moisture or extremely heat-sensitive materials.As a pretreatment technology,steam explosion can produce synergistic effects when combined with techniques like ultrasonic extraction,hot water extraction,and response surface methodology,further improving extraction efficiency and protecting active components,thus providing diversified pathways for industrial application.Currently,the technology still faces challenges such as insufficient standardization of process parameters for different traditional Chinese medicine,lagging development of industrial equipment,and inadequate in-depth basic research.In the future,by further strengthening basic research and making breakthroughs in research directions including process standardization,equipment intelligence,and application scenario expansion,steam explosion technology is expected to become one of the core supporting technologies driving the green,efficient,and large-scale development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.It will promote the transformation of the traditional Chinese medicine industry from extensive processing to precision manufacturing,facilitating the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine.
