With the serious challenge of global climate change and continuous advancement of emission peak and carbon neutrality target,the PV industry is experiencing rapid development and profound changes.This paper draws upon compiled excerpts from Global Market Outlook for Solar Power 2024-2028 written by SolarPower Europe and incorporates data from energy authorities such as China's National Energy Administration,the International Energy Agency(IEA),and other relevant literature.It examines the state of the global PV market in 2023,forecasts its development from 2024 to 2028,and proposes specific measures to promote the global PV industry's growth.The analysis results show that global PV market is expected to maintain robust growth from 2024 to 2028,with new installed capacity of global PV power generation reach approximately 876 GW in 2028.Among regions,the PV markets in Europe and the Americas are anticipated to develop steadily.The Asia-Pacific PV market will continue to be dominated by its two major players,China and India.Meanwhile,the Middle East and Africa PV market are expected to see steady growth from a greater number of smaller,emerging PV markets.Further more,the global PV industry can be advanced through the following five key approaches.That are establishing clear and binding national targets,supported by complementary policies,regulations,and financing mechanisms,fostering the development of technological innovation and new application models,implementing sustainable environmental,social,and governance(ESG)practices,coordinating and advancing the development of novel power systems,and promoting the globalization of training for skilled personnel in the PV industry chain.The results of this research can provide theoretical support for the sustainable development of the global PV industry.
