Research on the Disaster-Inducing Mechanism of Rock Mass Deterioration in the Hydro-Fluctuation Belt of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area:a Case Study of the Kamenziwan Landslide

随着三峡水库进入稳定调度阶段,周期性库水位升降诱发岸坡消落区岩体劣化已成为水库新生型滑坡的重要诱因.采取野外调查、室内试验、数值分析等方法对卡门子湾滑坡的岩体劣化致灾过程及机制进行了研究.结果显示:泄滩河岸坡消落区岩体呈现出典型由外向内"剥洋葱"式劣化特征,室内试验表明干湿循环会造成砂岩剥蚀及裂隙扩展,还会造成泥岩软弱层颗粒连接改变从而削弱抗剪能力.结合数值分析结果进一步提出卡门子湾滑坡的致灾机制为:消落区岩体劣化崩解—岸坡前缘阻滑能力丧失—软弱岩层软化泥化形成滑带,表现为牵引式破坏特征和滑移-拉裂型破坏模式,其结论可为三峡库区滑坡灾害防治提供一定理论依据.

With the Three Gorges Reservoir entering the stable operation stage,the periodic rise and fall of the reservoir water level has induced rock mass deterioration in the bank slope of hydro-fluctuation belt,which has become an important inducement for a new type of landslide in the reservoir.Field investigations,laboratory experiments,and numerical analysis were used to study the process and disaster causing mechanism of rock mass deterioration in the Kamenziwan landslide.The rock mass in the hydro-fluctuation belt at the front edge of the Xietan riverbank slope exhibited a typical"onion peeling"deterioration characteristic.Tests shown that the wetting-drying cycles could lead to deterioration phenomena such as sandstone erosion and crack propagation.It could also cause changes in the particle connections of the weak layers of mudstone,thereby weakening the shear resistance.Further numerical analysis and research were carried out,and the disaster-causing mechanism of rock mass deterioration of the Kamenziwan landslide was proposed.The results show that the deterioration and disintegration of rock mass in the hydro-fluctuation belt can result in the loss of the resistance to sliding at the front edge of the bank slope.The weak rock layers are further softened and argillized to form a sliding zone.The failure characteristics of the landslide are of the retrogressive type,and the failure mode is of the sliding-tensile cracking type.The research can provide a cer-tain theoretical basis for the prevention and control of landslide disasters in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.
