过氧化氢(H2O2)作为一种环保、高效、清洁的氧化剂,在众多领域都有广泛应用.目前,工业上规模生产H2O2主要是蒽醌法,其具有能耗高、过程复杂、环境污染大等不足,同时还面临着运输和储存方面的潜在危险.而通过氧气两电子还原反应(2e-ORR)电化学合成H2O2具有清洁高效、可现场制备以及应用范围广等特点,已成为近年来现场生产H2O2最具吸引力的研究方向之一.对近几年关于该方向的研究进行回顾和总结.首先介绍电催化还原O2合成H2O2的原理、过程及性能评价方法,综述几类常用的电催化剂(如贵金属基催化剂、过渡金属基催化剂和碳基催化剂)在该过程中的应用.重点描述碳基催化剂的改性,包括缺陷引入、孔隙结构调整、杂原子掺杂和金属活性位点等对其催化性能的影响.此外,还讨论用于电化学合成H2O2的反应设备和气体扩散电极的研究.同时,对电化学合成的H2O2在废水处理、杀菌消毒、漂白以及储能等方面的应用进行介绍.最后,总结该研究目前存在的不足,并对未来的研究方向进行展望.

Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)is an environmentally friendly,efficient and clean oxidizer,which is widely used in various fields.Currently,the large-scale industrial production of H2O2 relies on anthraquinone process,which suffers from drawbacks such as high energy consumption,complex process,environmental pollution,and potential hazards during transportation and storage.The electrochemical synthesis of H2O2 through the two-electron oxygen reduction reaction(2e-ORR)is a clean and efficient method that enables on-site preparation with a wide range of applications.Consequently,it has emerged as one of the most appealing research di-rections for on-site production of H2O2 in recent years.This paper provides a state-of-the-arts review of the most important aspects of this process.The principles and process of electrocatalytic reduction of O2 to H2O2 and the test-evaluation methods are first intro-duced,and the applications of several major catalysts(such as noble metal catalysts,non-precious metal catalysts,and carbon-based catalysts)are reviewed.The focus is on the modification of carbon-based catalysts including defect engineering,pore-structure adjust-ment,heteroatom doping,and metal-active sites.The study of reaction equipment and gas diffusion electrode for electrochemical syn-thesis of H2O2 is then discussed.Additionally,the application prospects of electrochemical synthesis of H2O2 in wastewater treatment,sterilization,bleaching,and energy storage were also introduced.Finally,the current deficiencies of this research were summarized,and the insights into the future research directions were prospected.
