5种瑞香科造纸植物纤维的PLM光学特性分析OA

本研究使用偏振光显微镜(PLM)对瑞香狼毒、土沉香、荛花、结香及澜沧荛花5种瑞香科造纸植物纤维蒸煮前后的光学特性进行分析,分别在有无红板补偿片的正交偏光模式下观察并记录了消光现象、干涉色、伸长指征(SE)及纤维取向,揭示了纤维结构与光学特性之间的关系.结果表明,蒸煮过程中纤维的微纤丝排列方向与微纤丝角的变化,影响着纤维的消光现象与干涉色.经蒸煮后5种瑞香科植物纤维消光更为显著、干涉色整体向低阶移动;而纤维的SE和纤维取向经蒸煮后并未发生改变,SE始终均为正,纤维取向始终均为Z取向.

This study utilized polarized light microscopy(PLM)to analyze the optical properties of five Thymelaeaceae papermaking plant fibers before and after pulping,including Stellera Chamaejasme,Aquilaria Sinensis,Wikstroemia Canescens,Edgeworthia Chrysantha,and Wikstroemia Delavayi.Under the cross-polarized light with and without a red plate compensator,respectively,the extinction phenomena,in-terference colors,sign of elongation(SE),and fiber orientation were observed and recorded,revealing the relationship between fiber structure and optical properties.The results indicated that changes of the microfibrils arrangement direction and the fibrillar angle during the pulping process influenced the extinction phenomena and interference colors of the fibers.Specially,after pulping,the five Thymelaeaceae fibers exhibited more pronounced extinction phenomena,and their interference colors generally shifted to lower orders.In contrast,the SE and fiber orientation of the fibers did not change after pulping,namely the SE of five fibers remained positive both before and after pulping,and the fiber orientation consistently exhibited a Z-twist.
