Research progress on ferroptosis in subarachnoid hemorrhage

蛛网膜下腔出血(SAH)是一种严重的脑血管疾病,其具有高病死率和高致残率特点,严重影响患者预后.铁死亡为一种依赖铁离子积累和脂质过氧化的细胞死亡方式,在SAH后原发性脑损伤和继发性脑损伤研究中受到广泛关注.该文综述了SAH后铁死亡的特征、相关信号通路、在神经元与神经胶质细胞间相互作用中的影响及靶向铁死亡的治疗策略,以期为以铁死亡为靶向的SAH基础研究和临床治疗提供新思路.

Subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)is a severe cerebrovascular disease with high mortality and disability rates which significantly affect patient prognosis.Ferroptosis,a type of cell death characterized by iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation,has garnered increasing attention in primary brain injury and secondary brain injury following SAH.To provide new insights for both basic research and clinical treatment of SAH,this article summarized the characteristics,the relative signaling pathways of ferroptosis after SAH,ferroptosis-mediated alterations in neuron-glia interactions,and therapeutic strategies targeting ferroptosis.
