蜱可传播多种病原体,引发一系列蜱媒疾病,对动物和人类健康构成严重威胁.传统检测方法(如聚合酶链式反应)在多病原体同步检测中存在明显局限.近年来,宏基因组测序(mNGS)技术在蜱媒病原体检测中展现出独特的优势,已成为发现和鉴定新发病原体、解析复杂微生物群落的有力工具.随着mNGS的不断发展和完善,该技术有望在蜱媒疾病的早期诊断、监测预警和综合防控中发挥更加重要的作用.本文对蜱媒病原体的特点及mNGS技术在蜱媒病原体检测领域的研究进展进行综述,以期为蜱媒疾病的诊断和防控提供技术思路.

Ticks can transmit a wide range of pathogens,causing diverse tick-borne diseases that pose serious threats to animal and human health.Traditional detection methods,such as polymerase chain reaction(PCR),have clear limitations in the simultaneous detection of multiple pathogens.In recent years,metagenomic next generation sequencing(mNGS)has demonstrated unique advantages in the detection of tick-borne pathogens and has become a powerful tool for the discovery and identification of emerging pathogens as well as for elucidating complex microbial communities.With the continuous development and optimization of mNGS,this technology is expected to play an increasingly important role in the early diagnosis,surveillance,early warning,and integrated control of tick-borne diseases.This review summarizes the characteristics of tick-borne pathogens and the recent research progress in the application of mNGS for their detection,aiming to provide technical insights for the diagnosis and prevention of tick-borne diseases.
