Experimental Study on the Damage of Quartz Type Hematite by Microwave Radiation Parameters and Cooling Methods

[目的]探讨更有效的辅助开采与破碎坚硬铁矿石的方法并为工程参数优化提供理论依据.[方法]利用自行研制的单模微波发生器进行了不同微波功率、辐射时间及不同冷却方式下石英型赤铁矿石升温特性、裂隙、损伤演化规律的试验研究.[结果]结果表明:在试验条件下石英型赤铁矿石试样整体温度随微波功率及辐射时间的增加而线性规律升高;试样裂隙宽度、裂隙体积占比、裂隙分布复杂度的分形维数随冷却降温幅度及降温速率的增加呈线性规律增加;微波辐射功率3 kW、辐射时间3 min后的试样经自然冷却、泡水冷却、液氮冷却10 min、液氮冷却2 h后的波速分别下降了 64.7%、73.9%、78.7%、83.9%,试样累计损伤因子分别为0.88、0.92、0.95、0.97.[结论]试验结果可为工程实际中选用微波辐射作为石英型赤铁矿石的辅助破岩方法及参数优化提供基础理论依据.

[Purposes]This work is conducted to explore more effective methods for assisting in mining and crushing hard iron ore and provide theoretical basis for optimizing engineering parame-ters.[Methods]An experimental study was conducted on the heating characteristics,cracks,and damage evolution of quartz type hematite ore under different microwave powers,radiation time,and cooling methods by using a self-developed single-mode microwave generator.[Results]The re-sults indicate that:Under experimental conditions,the overall temperatures of quartz type hematite samples increase linearly with the increases of microwave power and radiation time.The fractal dimen-sion of crack width,crack volume ratio,and crack distribution complexity of samples increase linearly with the increases of cooling amplitude and cooling rate.The sample with a microwave radiation pow-er of 3 kW and a radiation time of 3 min shows a 64.7%,73.9%,78.7%,and 83.9%decrease in wave velocity after natural cooling,water immersion cooling,liquid nitrogen cooling for 10 min,and liquid nitrogen cooling for 2 h,respectively.The cumulative damage factors of the sample are 0.88,0.92,0.95,and 0.97,respectively.[Conclusions]The experimental results can provide a basic the-oretical basis for selecting microwave radiation quartz type hematite as an auxiliary rock breaking meth-od and parameter optimization in engineering practice.
