Biochar is a refractory,stable,highly carbonized,and aromatized solid carbon material produced through high-temperature pyrolysis or thermochemical conversion of biomass under hypoxic or anoxic conditions.Wood-based biochar specifically refers to the material prepared from lignocellulosic biomass,featuring abundant surface functional groups and a well-developed porous structure.Wood-based biochar has demonstrated broad application in environmental governance and energy storage due to its triple carbon reduction potentials:carbon sequestration,carbon adsorption,and"substitution-based carbon reduction",attracting extensive attention from academia and industry at home and abroad.The paper summarizes the research progress in the application of wood-based biochar in such as CO2 capture and reduction,adsorption of harmful substances,soil improvement,supercapacitor and battery.The development trend of wood-based biochar application in various fields are also discussed,aiming at providing theoretical basis and helpful references for further study and application of wood-based biochar.
