利用60 个目的国面板数据与中国对其林产品出口贸易数据,测度了 2007-2022 年目的国数字经济发展指数,并从直接影响和作用机制2 个方面分析和检验目的国数字经济发展对中国林产品出口的影响.结果表明,在直接影响方面,目的国数字经济发展显著推动了中国对其林产品出口贸易发展,这一结果在经过调整样本及引入工具变量等检验后仍然稳健,同时,该作用在国家收入水平与林产品类型方面表现出显著的异质性特征;降低贸易成本、提高贸易便利性、改善制度质量是促进中国林产品出口的中介渠道;此外,目的国数字经济发展水平对中国林产品对其出口的影响存在一定的非线性关系,当数字鸿沟处于低或中等强度水平时,目的国数字经济发展对中国林产品出口具有显著促进作用,而在高强度数字鸿沟下,这一促进效应则显著减弱甚至消失.

⑴Background——China is the world's largest producer,consumer,and trader of forest products.Digital trade serves as a new engine for foreign trade development.Existing studies have primarily focused on the role of digital technologies in enhancing the value conversion efficiency of forest ecological products,promoting the de-velopment of the forestry industry,facilitating the digital transformation of relevant entities,and increasing farm-ers'incomes.However,research on the impact of the digital economy on China's forest products export trade re-mains limited. ⑵ Methods——First,this paper put forward research hypotheses based on theoretical analysis.Then,it selected 60 countries that imported forest products from China from 2007 to 2022 as the research objects,con-structed a multi-dimensional indicator system to evaluate the digital economy development level of the destination countries,and used the fixed effect model and the mediation effect model to analyze the impacts of the digital e-conomy development level of the destination countries on China's forest products exports to them.Meanwhile,it explored the heterogeneous impacts of the countries with different economic development levels and different types of forest products.Finally,it further analyzed the threshold effects in the promotion of China's forest products exports by the digital economy development of the destination countries. ⑶ Results——First,the development of the digital economy in the destination countries can significantly promote the growth of China's forest products exports to them.Second,the development of the digital economy in the destination countries has a positive impact on China's forest products exports by reducing trade costs,enhan-cing trade facilitation,and improving institutional quality.Third,the development of the digital economy in the destination countries has a more significant promoting effect on the export of resource-intensive forest products.The developed countries have a more significant promoting effect on China's forest products exports to them.Fourth,the digital divide between the destination countries and China has a non-linear impact on China's forest products exports.That is,the greater the digital divide,the weaker the promoting effect. ⑷Conclusions and Discussions——First,promote multilateral dialogues on digital trade rules,facilitate mutual recognition of electronic certification and forest products traceability standards.Relying on the Digital Silk Road,provide smart customs and intelligent logistics solutions to the developing countries.Strengthen technologi-cal cooperation with the developed countries to jointly develop traceability systems and AI-powered quality in-spection tools.Second,improve the digital supply chain and enhance technological compatibility.Relying on the industrial internet platform,integrate the Internet of Things and digital services to build an integrated ecosystem of"production,trade and services".Support the development of cross-border e-commerce and digital service providers to provide integrated solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.Third,deepen the differentia-tion of the structure of forest products for exports,and enhance the digital collaborative capabilities for the exports of resource-intensive forest products.Fourth,establish an early warning mechanism for dealing with digital risks.Dynamically assess the digital ecosystem of the exporting countries and monitor the changes in the digital divide.
