⑴ Background——The value realization of forest ecological products is a core issue in promoting ecologi-cal civilization construction and green economic development.In recent years,the emerging practice of ecological notes has facilitated the marketization of ecological resources.Although existing research on ecological notes is relatively abundant,there remains a lack of analysis regarding the theoretical logic and mechanisms through which they promote the value realization of forest ecological products.The"Green Notes"system implemented in Yongchun County,Fujian Province,provides a novel pathway for the marketization of ecological assets,warran-ting further exploration. ⑵ Methods——This paper first clarified the institutional attributes of the"Green Notes"system through comparison with other typical ecological notes in Fujian Province.Grounded in property rights theory,ecological capital theory,transaction cost theory and financialization theory,it systematically examined the institutional log-ic and operational mechanisms through which the"Green Notes"system promoted the value realization of forest ecological products.Subsequently,it analyzed the practical challenges hindering the system's effectiveness in Yongchun County.Finally,it proposed the optimization pathways to enhance the"Green Notes"system in pro-moting the value realization of forest ecological products. ⑶Results——The"Green Notes"system can effectively promote the initial marketization of ecological as-sets and enhance the legitimacy and sustainability of the value realization of ecological products.However,its im-plementation still faces multiple challenges in practice:First,the relatively long return realization cycle and in-sufficient risk guarantee mechanisms undermine participant enthusiasm and trust in the system.Second,inade-quate innovation in green financial products and an imperfect policy incentive system restrict market circulation efficiency.Third,limited recognition at the grassroots level and singular information dissemination channels con-strain broader participation.Fourth,insufficient integration between the"Green Notes"system and local charac-teristic industries limits the full realization of its potential market value. ⑷ Conclusions and Discussions——The"Green Notes"system has achieved the initial marketization of forest ecological assets and constructed a relatively comprehensive value chain for ecological assets through four mechanisms:property rights consolidation,value anchoring,equity transfer,and financial transformation.How-ever,it faces some challenges in practice.To this end,the following policy suggestions are proposed:First,im-prove the risk guarantee system and dynamic assets valuation mechanism to enhance the stability of returns and investors'confidence.Second,encourage the innovation in green financial products and optimize policy incen-tives to promote the securitization of ecological assets and diversified financing.Third,strengthen grassroots train-ing and expand information dissemination channels to increase policy awareness and public participation.Fourth,promote the in-depth integration of the"Green Notes"system with local characteristic industries such as bee-keeping,incense production,tea cultivation,and citrus farming,thereby expanding the application scenarios and market space for ecological assets.
