Effect of calcium carbonate whiskers on the properties of recycled aggregate concrete
为改善再生骨料混凝土(recycled aggregate concrete,RAC)的力学性能和抗氯离子渗透性能,通过掺入不同掺量(体积分数)的碳酸钙晶须(calcium carbonate whiskers,CW)制备RAC试样,测试其抗压强度、劈裂抗拉强度及氯离子迁移系数,并结合扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和氮吸附法分析其微观作用机理.研究结果表明:再生骨料替代率为25%、CW掺量为0.8%时,RAC性能提升效果最优;CW掺入过多会引发团聚效应,导致RAC性能提升效果下降;CW通过填充、桥联等效应优化RAC的微观形貌,从而改善RAC性能.研究结论为CW在再生混凝土中的应用提供参考.
To enhance the mechanical properties and chloride ion penetration resistance of recycled aggregate concrete(RAC),RAC specimens were prepared by incorporating calcium carbonate whiskers(CW)with different content(volume fraction).The compressive strength,splitting tensile strength,and chloride migration coefficient were measured.The underlying mechanisms were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and the nitrogen adsorption method.The results indicate that the optimal performance of RAC is achieved with a 25%recycled aggregate(RA)replacement rate and a 0.8%CW volume fraction.However,excessive CW incorporation leads to agglomeration,which diminishes the improvement in RAC properties.CW optimizes the RAC matrix morphology through mechanisms such as pore-filling and crack-bridging,thereby improving its performance.These findings provide a theoretical foundation for the application of CW in RAC.
