人工智能应用对绿色技术创新同群效应的影响研究OA
On the Impacts of Artificial Intelligence Application on the Peer Effect in Green Technology Innovation
以往的研究多聚焦于人工智能对个体企业绿色技术创新的微观影响,缺乏对其在行业内技术扩散与协同效应的探讨.以2011-2023年中国沪深A股制造业上市企业为样本,实证检验人工智能应用对绿色技术创新同群效应的影响及其机理.研究发现:企业绿色技术创新存在同群效应,且人工智能应用越广泛,企业绿色技术创新同群效应越强.机制分析表明,知识溢出效应、信息对称效应与成本节约效应是人工智能应用促进绿色技术创新同群效应的重要途径.异质性分析结果发现,股东存在关联、技术密集型及劳动密集型企业的绿色技术创新同群效应,更容易受到人工智能的影响.研究结论对政府制定支持制造业人工智能技术应用的相关政策,利用群体示范效应激发制造行业创新活力具有重要作用.
Previous research has predominantly focused on the micro-level impact of artificial intelligence(AI)on individual firms' green technology innovation,with a lack of discussion on technology diffusion and synergistic effects within industries.Using a sample of Chinese A-share listed manufacturing companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2011 to 2023,this study empirically examines the impacts and mechanisms of AI application on the peer effect in green technology innovation.The findings reveal that a peer effect exists in corporate green technology innovation,and the more extensive the application of AI,the stronger this peer effect becomes.Mechanism analysis indicates that knowledge spillover,information symmetry,and cost-saving effects are crucial pathways through which AI application promotes the peer effect in green technology innovation.Heterogeneity analysis further shows that the peer effect in green technology innovation is more susceptible to AI influence in firms with shareholder connections and in technology-intensive or labor-intensive enterprises.The conclusions of this research hold significant implications for policymakers in formulating relevant policies to support AI technology application in the manufacturing industry and in leveraging the demonstration effect among firms to stimulate innovation vitality within the industry.
