Circadian Rhythm of Adult Activity in Discestra trifolii(Lepidoptera:Noctuidae)
[目的]为了解旋幽夜蛾成虫行为昼夜节律.[方法]连续 6 d室内观察配对成虫移动、取食、交配、产卵和静息5 个活动行为,并对观察数据进行统计与分析.[结果]在配对后6 d内,不同日龄旋幽夜蛾及同日龄的雌、雄虫的移动、取食和静息行为所占百分比有一定变化,但差异不显著,交配行为在配对后第 3 d 所占百分比最高,产卵行为从配对后第 2 d 开始发生;在暗期2~5.5 h,雌虫移动行为高于雄虫,暗期 6 h后,雄虫移动行为高于雌虫,但雌、雄虫除暗期 2.5 h时,雌虫移动行为显著高于雄虫,暗期其他时间两者没有显著性差异;雌虫取食行为在暗期0.5、7 h有两个高峰,且在暗期 0.5 h 的取食行为百分比显著高于雄虫,雄虫取食行为峰值出现在暗期10.5 h,并显著高于雌虫;旋幽夜蛾成虫的交配行为主要发生在暗期7 h至刚进入光期1 h之间,峰值出现在暗期10 h;旋幽夜蛾雌虫的产卵行为全部发生在暗期,分布在暗期 0~10 h,其中暗期0~2 h为产卵行为发生的主要时期;成虫各行为日时间分配所占百分比最多的是静息行为,显著高于其他行为,雌、雄虫间,同种行为日时间分配所占百分比无显著性差异;旋幽夜蛾各行为日时间分配百分比在光期和暗期差异显著,在光期,雌、雄虫基本处于静息状态,其他行为则主要发生在暗期,在光期很少发生;在暗期不同时间段,除雌虫的移动、取食行为外,雌、雄虫其他各种行为各自均存在显著性差异.[结论]表明旋幽夜蛾成虫配对后各活动行为受光暗周期、性别、日龄等影响,表现出明显的节律性.
[Objective]To investigate the circadian rhythm of adult activity in Discestra trifolii,[Methods]five behaviors of paired adults,including moving,feeding,mating,oviposition and resting were observed for 6 consecutive days in the laboratory,and the observed data were analyzed.[Results]The results showed that within 6 days after pairing,the percentages of moving,feeding and resting behaviors were different among Discestra trifolii of different day-old ages and between females and males within same age,but these differences were not significant.The percentage of mating behavior was highest on the third day,and oviposition occurred from the second day after pairing;In 2-5.5 h of scotophase,females had higher percentages of moving behavior than males,and there was a significant difference at 2.5 h of scotophase.After 6 h of scotophase,males had higher percentages of moving behavior than females,but there was no significant difference.The feeding behavior of females had two peaks at 0.5 h and 7 h of scotophase,and significantly higher than males at 0.5 h of scotophase.The feeding behavior of males had a peak at 10.5 h of scotophase,and significantly higher than females.The mating behavior mainly occurred from 7 h of scotophase to 1 h of photophase,and the peak occurred at 10 h of scotophase.The oviposition behavior of females occurred from 0 h to 10 h of scotophase,and the scotophase from 0 h to 2 h was the main period of oviposition behavior.The largest percentage of diurnal time distribution in adult behaviors was resting behavior,which was significantly higher than other behaviors.There was no significant difference in the percentage of diurnal time distribution for the same behavior between females and males.The percentages of diurnal time distribution of adult behaviors had significant difference between photophase and scotophase.In photophase,the females and males were basically in the resting state,while other behaviors mainly occurred in scotophase,but rarely occurred in photophase.Except for the moving and feeding behaviors of females,all other behaviors had significant differences in different periods of scotophase.[Conclusion]The results showed that after pairing,the behaviors of adults were influenced by the light-dark cycle,sex and day-old age,and the behavior rhythm was obvious.
