系统视域下的人文学科危机:困境、溯源与破解OA

From a systemic perspective,the humanities are a diverse collection of elements nested in multiple systems from the micro to the macro level.These multiple systems interact and intertwine to form the risks of humanities,including the global risk society at the macro level,the marketization of higher education at the meso level,and the survival predicament of scholars and students at the micro level.Resilience is a necessary characteristic for a system to cope with risks.The practical dilemma faced by the humanities is a manifestation of their lack of resilience under the impact of risks,which stems from the three fundamental elements constituting the disciplinary system:disciplinary culture,knowledge,and the community of scholars.Taking resilience as the anchor point,the reasons for the lack of resilience of the humanities are as follows:the lack of flexibility due to deep-rooted human exceptionalism,the lack of adaptability to changes due to strong barriers between the humanities and the sciences,and the shaky foundation of the humanities due to ignoring seeking the meaning of life.On this basis,the humanities should deal with the risks by deconstructing the anthropocentric ideology,promoting interdisciplinary knowledge production,and balancing the idealism and pragmatism.
