The article examines algorithmic criticism of literature from the dimension of technological evolution.The essence of algorithmic literary criticism is the practice of algorithms as a technological medium against standard literary criticism,and algorithmic criticism changes the only direction of human criticism and triggers a possible transmutation of critical culture.Algorithmic participation in literary criticism has formed a practice characteristic that distinguishes it from human literary criticism.Firstly,the method of criticism adopts subjective evaluation based on machine quantification;secondly,the generative literary criticism of artificial intelligence completely changes the subject of literary evaluation into the mode of"user";thirdly,the current stage of literary algorithmic criticism is still limited by the technical level of the algorithmic black box and algorithmic illusions.
