[Purpose]This study analyzes the hierarchical structure and coordination mechanisms of the U.S.psychological warfare intelli-gence support system during the 1991 Gulf war.By analyzing the application of multi-source intelligence fusion in psychological warfare,it elucidates the mechanisms by which such fusion enhances operational effectiveness,thus providing valuable insights for the advancement of theory and practice in modern psychological warfare intelligence support.[Method]Drawing on extensive military doctrines and aca-demic literature,this study assesses the U.S.psychological warfare intelligence support during the Gulf War,with a focus on the structure of the support system,its core functions,as well as its characteristics and limitations.[Result/Conclusion]It is found that the U.S.mili-tary has adopted the intelligence support mode of integrating psychological warfare operations with conventional military operations,and built a psychological warfare intelligence support system of"centralized management and decentralized execution"with the joint intelli-gence operation center of the Central Command as the core.Under the guidance of intelligence demands,through the close coordination and timely response of multiple intelligence,the deep coupling between intelligence and psychological warfare operations is realized,but it also exposes the cultural cognitive deviation and the limitations of the evaluation mechanism.
