渤海湾贝壳堤的横截面形态与内涵OA
The cross-sectional morphology and connotation of the shelly ridges in Bohai Bay
[研究目的]贝壳堤(shelly ridge)是波浪和潮水将海里的贝壳和泥砂不断向岸边搬运,沿海岸线堆积而成的长垄状凸起的海堤.垂直于堤走向的横截面揭示了堤的物质组成、沉积结构与外部形态,是研究贝壳堤成因、形成过程、时空分布、海陆变化及与海面关系等问题的重要切入点.[研究方法]渤海湾沿海平原分布着5~8道贝壳堤,通过对11个地点的贝壳堤横截面研究,查明了贝壳堤的横截面形态、沉积物组成与沉积结构,讨论了贝壳堤的成因.[研究结果]贝壳堤的横截面形态分为完整型、半完整型与蚀退型三类.进一步,根据贝壳堤底板和初始发育形态,将渤海湾贝壳堤堆积体分成潮间带侵蚀斜坡贴附型、泥堤后缘向陆倾斜型、砂泥质潮间带沙坝向上生长型和现代贝壳滩型四类,提出了形成向海倾斜的斜坡—堆积贝壳体的气候成因假说.[结论]"小冰期"结束以来的最近约150年里,人为影响的气候变化加剧了最新一轮的海侵退积过程,这是整个渤海湾(乃至全国泥质海岸带(?))的大趋势.养殖池外侧堤坝基部贝壳滩的出现,是新生贝壳堤雏形.当前,宜停止将已关停的养殖区恢复到1980年代初状态,转而采取对养殖区外围新生贝壳质海滩加以养护,积极促成新的生态环境的出现.
This paper is the study of shelly ridges. [Objective]A shelly ridge is a long,ridge-shaped raised seawall formed by waves and tides continuously transporting shells,mud,and sand from the sea towards the shore and accumulating them along the coastline.The cross-section perpendicular to the ridge's trend reveals the material composition,sedimentary structure and external morphology of the ridge,which is an important starting point for studying issues such as the origin,formation process,spatiotemporal distribution,and relationship with the sea level of the shelly ridge.[Methods]There are 5 to 8 shelly ridges distributed in the coastal plain of the Bohai Bay.Through the analysis of the cross-sectional morphology of the shelly ridges at 11 locations,the cross-sectional morphology,sediment composition,and sedimentary structure of the shelly ridges were identified,and the origin of the shelly ridges was discussed.[Results]The cross-sectional morphology of the shelly ridges can be divided into three types:complete type,semi-complete type,and eroded-retreated type.Furthermore,according to the base and initial development morphology of the shelly ridges,the accumulation bodies of the shelly ridges in the Bohai Bay are divided into four types:intertidal erosion slope attachment type,landward-inclined type at the rear edge of the mud ridge,upward-growing type of the sandy-muddy intertidal sandbar,and modern shell beach type.A hypothesis about the climatic origin of the formation of the seaward-inclined slope-accumulated shell body is proposed.[Conclusions]In the recent approximately 150 years since the end of the"Little Ice Age",the climate change influenced by human activities has intensified the latest round of the transgression and regression process,which is a general trend for the entire Bohai Bay(and even the muddy coastal zones across the country?).The appearance of the shell beach at the base of the embankment outside the aquaculture ponds is the embryonic form of a new shelly ridge.Currently,it is advisable to stop the efforts to restore the abandoned aquaculture areas to the state in the early 1980s.Instead,efforts should be made to protect the newly formed shell beaches around the aquaculture areas and actively promote the emergence of a new ecological environment.
