创新关节灸疗法治疗老年膝骨关节炎对患者膝关节功能与疼痛程度的影响OA

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of innovative joint moxibustion therapy on elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods:A total of 86 patients with KOA admitted to Huantai County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and a study group by random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the study group treated with innovative joint moxibustion therapy on the basis of the control group.Both groups received continuous treatment for 8 weeks The clinical efficacy,knee function,pain level,inflammatory cytokine levels,quality of life and the occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective treatment rate of the study group was 95.35%,which was higher than 81.40%of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of all dimensions and total scores in Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index,the score of Path Visual Analogue Scale,interleukin-6,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein,and the scores of all fields of Brief Version of World Health Organization Quality of Life in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 6.98%,which was lower than 11.63%in the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Innovative joint moxibustion therapy is more effective in the treatment of elderly knee osteoarthritis,which can reduce local pain,accelerate the regression of inflammation,improve the knee joint function,and is safe and reliable.
