"Accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces and enhancing new momentum of development"is an important statement by Chinese President Xi Jinping.The Government Report of the State Council 2024 emphasizes the need to vigorously promote the construction of a modern industrial system and accelerate the development of new quality productive forces,and listed it as the top ten government tasks.The bamboo industry is an important green and low-carbon industry in China,and an ideal carrier for the development of new quality productive forces.With the focus on the formation and development of the new quality productive forces of China's bamboo industry,this paper delves into its essence and significance,analyzes the key sci-tech advancements made in China's bamboo sector,and elucidates the imperative requirements for the new quality productivity from the aspects of new equipment,new technology,new products,and new business models.It then comes up with the recommendations for promoting the formation of new quality productivity for the bamboo industry,with the aim to guide the industry towards green and high-quality development.
