"Unity of Knowledge and Action"and Managerial Research Methods

对"知行"关系的思考是中国自古以来独有的哲学命题.作为宋明理学的集大成者,王阳明对"知""行"关系及其内涵的独到见解对治学方法具有重要的指导意义.论文从王阳明"知行合一"说的内涵出发,将"知行合一"与定性研究、定量研究两种管理学研究范式进行了特征比较,结合管理学的学科属性和中国情境下的管理学研究现状,提出了重视定性研究、发展"知行合一"的管理学研究方法的见解.

Thinking about the relationship between"knowledge and action"is a unique philosophical proposition in China since ancient times.As a master of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming dynasties,Wang Yangming's unique insights into the relationship and connotation of"knowledge"and"action"have great guiding significance for academic methods.This article starts from the connotation of Wang Yangming's theory of"unity of knowledge and action",compares the characteristics of"unity of knowledge and action"with two management research paradigms of qualitative research and quantitative research,and combines the disciplinary attributes of management with management research in the Chinese context.Based on the current situation,we draw some thoughts and inspirations on attaching importance to qualitative research and developing management research methods of"unity of knowledge and action".
